Dyed and pleated by hand, this exceptional Japanese paper has the texture of a crumpled and draped fabric. It is extremely water resistant and accepts heavy handling. The paper pulp is macerated in Konnyaku juice (*) to make it solid and flexible at the same time in order to resist rubbing, molding and crumpling. Its characteristic and its touch make it a unique paper.
Ideal and original as a book cover. Resistant, it is used in wall panels and in the manufacture of bags.
